El Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural reconoció la excelencia empresarial agropecuaria de la empresa Helppo, de Daniel Vélez Ríos y Manuela Noreña Galeano, graduados de Administración de Empresas y Negocios Internacionales de la Universidad Autónoma de Manizales (UAM).
La distinción la recibieron en el Congreso de la República en la categoría Mejor Iniciativa Agroindustrial del país, por su aporte al desarrollo de procesos y/o productos agroindustriales con alto valor agregado, generando un impacto ambiental y socioeconómico.
En total fueron reconocidas 50 empresas de diferentes cadenas del sector agropecuario del país.
“Nos llena de orgullo este reconocimiento. Estamos convencidos de que la transformación del campo se tiene que dar desde la innovación y en eso trabaja nuestro equipo todos los días. Hoy Helppo es el presente y futuro de muchísimas familias colombianas”, comentaron Daniel y Manuela.
Esta es una organización con sello UAM que busca reducir el tiempo de preparación de alimentos y bebidas en tres canales (hogares, restaurantes e industria) a través de productos naturales y sabrosos.
El campo innova
Este premio está enmarcado dentro de la estrategia El Campo Innova. Es una distinción que destaca el papel de los productores y las empresas agropecuarias por el aporte al desarrollo económico, social y ambiental del país.
Desde las Mesas de Cítricos y Musáceas se promovió la postulación de Helppo a esta convocatoria.
La UAM felicita a Daniel Vélez Ríos y Manuela Noreña Galeano, graduados de Administración de Empresas y Negocios Internacionales por este nuevo logro alcanzado con Helppo y les augura muchos éxitos.
